I want to restrict file download from my website to restricted IP or city or countries only. Is there any way to configure webserver to give this restriction?
I want to restrict website downloading
Apache, Tomcat, IIS and any other webserver related queries and discussion.

Hello,
n the sense of download the website, To download the data backup. We can restrict this one by editing .htaccess file and we can give the command via root user to specific website user with "chattr" command .
In this way it is unable to download the file via web browser like http://domain_name/data_backup.
